During my travels I am asked quite often, how difficult is it to be so open about my life, battles, victories and failures. Wouldn't it be easier and more private to forget about the past and live the new life that I have been given. Maybe! I know that not everyone is called to be this open, and there is a fine line that must be drawn between bragging about one's past and sharing it. I have nothing to brag about. There can be nothing glamorous about falling face down in the mud. My life was worthless as it was, but God is in the business of taking something useless and making it useful. Something ugly and making it something beautiful. I believe that I am called to share what God has done in my life, but to do so without giving glory to the dark side of my past. It is the Victory, the freedom and the future that I choose to focus on. It is not to be capitalized upon for profit or fame. I am not called to be famous, but rather to be faithful.

When I speak of my past I am literally talking about someone else. II Cor 5:17 says that "If any man is in Christ he is a new creation. The old things have past away and all things have become new". To totally understand this is to experience it. Certainly there are those who will remember your failures, but when you truly understand that you ARE a NEW CREATION, freedom comes from condemnation and you are free.

Because I am now a Christian does not mean that I have arrived. It does not certify me as a perfect individual. It only means that I have the hand of someone who is perfect and He is guiding me. Sometimes even dragging me kicking and screaming as I can still rebel. Just when I think I am getting a handle on things another challenge comes. Most battles I stand fast but some I fall. What I do know is that failure is essential to Christian Growth. The Idea that we can live up to the 10 commandments is absurd. There was only one who could do that, Christ himself. He gave us the law to show us that we need a savior. Each and every one of us. Christian and non Christian alike. We need a savior. We need the savior and his name is Jesus.

There are some who would say that Christianity is a crutch. I say "Its not a crutch, Its both my legs". Without Christ, I am nothing. Certainly I could accomplish much for the world but when it is all said and done, only what I do for the Kingdom of God will live on.

Take a walk with me down the Romans Road. It will be the most important trip you will ever take...

Romans 3:23	For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.
Romans 6:23	For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Roman 6:1, 2	What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!
Romans 8:14, 15	For as many as are led by the spirit of God, these are sons of God, for you do not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you receive the spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, Abba Father, the Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are Children of God, and if Children, then heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.
Romans 8:1	There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

The day that I excepted Christ, was the day I began a new life. Every day is a new day and a new beginning. The failures are fewer and farther between. I hate failure but I am now learning from each one. Victory can come from failure as you see God's plan and why he allows us free choice.

Being a GOOD PERSON will not earn you salvation. Salvation is a gift. It can not be earned only accepted. Christ paid the ultimate price for our sin. He took it on Himself, and died as the penalty that we might be free from the Law of sin and death. He did not come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it. He is our Savior, Brother and friend. He is not expecting you to be perfect, just willing to let Him be perfect in and through you!

If you have never prayed and asked Christ for the gift of Salvation, now is a great time. Just pray this prayer from the sincerity of your heart and Christ is faithful to forgive and give you the gift of eternal life with Him. Also life here on earth with his help. Life and Life more abundant.

Lord Jesus.. I know that I am a sinner and that we have all fallen short and sinned. I thank you for dying for me on the Cross and paying the ultimate price for my sin. I ask you to forgive me. Come into my life and make me whole. I want to have a relationship with you. Teach me to Love, forgive and live as you would have me to live. Thank you Jesus. I accept your gift of Salvation.

If you prayed this prayer sincerely, then you too are a new creation. That means that all of the sin of the past is gone. From this moment, you are white as snow. You will sin again, but Christ is always there to receive you, forgive you, and enable you to have Victory over the temptations and Sins of your life. Remember that Sin begins in the mind. So renew your mind by reading his word. Hook in to a good Bible believing church and fellowship with those who will support you in your walk. Remember also that Man is only Man. Look to God. Man can always disappoint you.

Should you be interested in "Home" or "From Madam to Miracle" you will not receive letters soliciting funds.We also believe in the support of the local church.We believe that God has called this ministry and will support it. He does so through the sale of books, tapes, CD's and Video's as well as the gifts given by those that feel God has prompted them to do so. Kimberley and her Board believe that to truly be blessed we must fulfill the calling that God has placed on our lives. To do this, we give freely as we have freely received. You can't out give God.
